THOSE WERE THE DAYS : old, ex, past (whatever you call it) MDC members will join us or take up meeting role! Let the old and new meet ¡V a time to understand our past, appreciate the present and to look forward to our future!
PREPARED SPEECHES : Our new members Mandy Ling and Vincent Chow will tell us more about themselves in their Ice Breaking Speech while Lilan will call upon various visual aids to reinforce her message.
TELL A JOKE CONTEST : this contest is open to all, rigid rules not allowed (it does not matter if it is not your original work, just showcase your delivery skills)! Sign up on the spot!
Tell a 2-3min joke/story that keeps the audience (who are the judges) laughing till their tears drop! Attractive prizes are waiting for you!
A limited edition VCD of Lance Miller, 2005 World Champion of Public Speaking. This VCD is kindly donated by Arthur Ting.
A book (50 Ways to become a Better Speaker) by Douglas Kruger, a full time professional speaker and trainer who has won the Southern African Toastmasters Championships for Public Speaking three times! We bought the book recently at Macau Convention and have it autographed by Douglas!
HAPPY TUMMY : a hungry toastmaster is an angry toastmaster! To keep your tummy and mind happy, a sumptuous dinner will be served around 8pm.
SURPRISE PERFORMANCE : our very own members will dance and sing for us during dinner!!??
